D23:Big Hero 6 to be huge part of Kingdom Hearts 3
Today it was announced at the D23 Expo during the Disney Interactive panel that Disney Pixar’s Big Hero 6 will be featured in Kingdom Hearts 3.
Kingdom Hearts III will “continue the events of the film” as Baymax joins Sora’s story. Check out the announcement trailer above!
Since the first KINGDOM HEARTS was released in March 2002 for the PlayStation 2 system, the series has expanded several additional entries. Square Enix showed a piece of concept art where Sora was fighting a giant Baymax clad in black armor. All the new Keyblades will have new abilities and transformations, something that has also been assumed.
Kingdom Hearts is still a long ways away from release, but Square Enix and Disney’s contributions together continue to grow. “For instance there’s friendship, really important to both stories, and then of course light over darkness”. Players will fight against an evil version of Baymax, the adorable robot from the film. Let us know below along with the worlds you’d like to see.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available for PS4 and Xbox One sometime within the next two years (hopefully). The game’s producer Shinji Hashimoto revealed that they are adding Big Hero 6′s world to the game.
