Dad says his son’s Hail Mary catch bigger than “The Play”

The Packers got one more shot to win after Detroit defensive end Devin Taylor was called for grabbing Aaron Rodgers’ face mask on a tackle on what would have been the last play of the game.

Here is my first ever review of this blog for the game last night between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions in Detroit.

They made the correct call, and Aaron Rodgers made the legitimate heroic touchdown throw. “The most incredible game of my life”. Instead, the Packers remain in the hunt for the NFC North crown, as well as a bye in the first round of the playoffs, while leading the conference for one of the two available wild-card spots. Rodgers’ 61-yard touchdown bomb to tight end Richard Rodgers on the next play won it with the clock reading 0:00.

The Packers’ fourth quarter rally and the Rodgers’ desperation touchdown pass brought back memories of other noteworthy “Hail Mary” victories.

Lions fans? Not so much.
