Daily pick-me-up: Watch this baby elephant happily chase birds

The tourists involved at first didn’t realize what was going on and only later in the video do they realize the baby elephant is playing with the swallows.

The baby elephant was being dive-bombed by a whole flock of swallows and got into a playful mood.

With his tail in the air and trunk swinging from side to side the little elephant looks like he is having fun.

The elephant chased them down the street and into a park area before returning to his parents.

The youngster then spots one not too far from it and begins running towards it again – clearly having a great time playing with the birds.

The adorable clip concludes with the elephant wandering off towards the rest of the herd.

This new-born elephant was trying to chase away birds who were flying low at the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
