Dakota Johnson talks about her next movie
“I guess they either love me or they’re running for the hills”, the brunette beauty joked. Before she could divert the conversation subject, the driver continued by saying, “I thought there could be more sex”.
“Nobody in my family”, she smiled, referring to her dad, former Miami Vice star Don Johnson, and her grandmother, actress Tippi Hedren, also having no interest in seeing Fifty Shades of Grey. Reports said that the two hadn’t been spotted together for the past three months.
Even though it was hugely popular, earning $569 million at the global box office, Fifty Shades of Grey caused a fair number of complaints from viewers. “I guess they’re running for the hills”.
And, in case you’re thinking she’s doing the whole “oh, I’m so attractive and cool but I’m going to pretend I’m unsuccessful with men to be more relatable” thing, Dakota is in fact now single.
Johnson noted that The “50 Shades of Grey” sequel, titled “50 Shades Darker“, will begin filming in 2016.
She went on to recall an interesting encounter with a cab driver – judging by the accent she put on, it took place in New York – who told her he’d watched her film with his wife. “We really liked it”.
It has been widely debated on the Internet that adding more risque sex scenes will be deviating from the source material, considering that the film’s concept is reportedly about finding romance in torture.
Dakota could next be seen starring in Black Mass, which is a biographical drama centred around real-life criminal Whitey Bulger.
Scott Cooper, known for his work on insane Heart, helmed the film.
