According to police 35-year-old Kendra Hatcher pulled into the parking garage of the Gables Park 17 on Cedar Springs Road. “When Ms. Hatcher parks her auto, an individual gets out of the vehicle of interest, and walks in her direction”.
Once police arrived he says they described the black keep Cherokee and the driver who is no considered to be a person of interest in the investigation.
Sources told our sister station WFAA-TV in Dallas that a bullet casing was found in the passenger seat of Hatcher’s auto and that police found a gun clip near her vehicle.
The Cherokee driver then got back into the vehicle, according to police, and left the garage.
“We believe the occupant or occupants of that vehicle likely have information related to the offense and are asking for the community’s help in locating the vehicle and any occupants”, the statement continued.
Her co-workers and friends told NBC 5 they couldn’t sit around and watch the news anymore.
Detectives are continuing to hunt for a motive in the shock killing and added: “Additionally we have increased patrols in the area and remind everyone to be vigilant about their surroundings and to report any suspicious behavior to 911”.
Neil Hatcher stated that she had recently visited San Francisco and planned to buy a home in the city.
They described her as vibrant, caring and outgoing. They wanted to do something to show how much Hatcher meant to them and how her passion and kindness toward children will always stay with them.
