‘Dancing with the Stars 21’: Maksim Chmerkovskiy speaks (VERY) candidly on past
Hosted by Matthew Cole Weiss and Theo Von, it’s called Allegedly and went online on Tuesday.
Solo and Chmerkovskiy were dance partners on Season 13 of the hit ABC reality show in 2011.
Back in 2011, Hope Solo competed on Dancing With the Stars along with fan-favorite Maksim Chmerkovskiy as her coach and partner.
“She’s just a sh**ty person”, Maksim says. The pairing ended on disgusting terms after the soccer pro accused Chmerkovskiy of slapping her in the face during rehearsals while trying to correct a move after the competition ended. “You can have a sh-ty life growing up, but if you’re a bad person, there’s no excuse for that”. “I don’t hold back – I say exactly what’s on my mind”.
Chmerkovskiy also dished about which of his celebrity dance partners he has slept with. Maks says that his departure is definitive and argues that he couldn’t have stayed on the show for much longer because he was never the kind of guy to turn himself into a character for the cameras.
“[I had a] giant fight with my producers”, confessed Chmerkovskiy, adding that he was “heavily censored” while starring on the ABC show because “Mickey Mouse was writing my checks”.
“Willa Ford, we dated for a little while – I’m gonna stick that in the f**k category” he said of the blonde beauty.
The TV personality insisted he had no plans to return to the ABC talent show – although he made a guest appearance this week as judge – and revealed his contentious relationship with show producers.
“I just want to be on the record”.
He is now dating fellow dance pro Peta Murgatroyd.
