‘Dancing With the Stars’: Bindi Irwin Thanks ‘Amazing’ Boyfriend

All eyes were on Bindi Irwin and her boyfriend Chandler Powell on Monday night, as the couple cuddled up at the CBS Television City studios in LA ahead of the bubbly star’s performance on the USA version of Dancing With The Stars. Powell is an 18-year-old American wakeboarder from Florida, and he is now a global ambassador for Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors team.

The pair have had to briefly maintain a long-distance relationship as Irwin continues to train alongside DWTS partner Derek Hough.

“And then I’ll make you a hot cup of tea and I’ll hug you, so the rest of you will be warm, just not your foot!’ “He’s really sweet”. You’re wonderful”, she added. “I am really proud of her”.

Seventeen-year-old Bindi’s choice in TV show was a surprising one considering The Jeffersons finished on air 13 years before she was born. He continued with his loving words, writing he feels “very blessed to have you in my life”. According to M magazine, Bindi revealed that “Dad said that if I did find someone to date that he would have to prove himself by swimming across our largest crocodile pond!”

“And it’s so cold I’m going, ‘No!” Powell apparently flew into Los Angeles to support Irwin as she performs on the show.
