Dangal Box Office Collection: Enters into the club of 100 crores
Though the movie had crossed Rs 100 crore mark in the domestic market and Rs 200 crore mark in global markets, the movie had failed to beat the earlier records created by Salman Khan’s Sultan Movie and Hrithik Roshan’s Dhoom 3 movie. And of course, the “PK” star is very overwhelmed with the response he has got from his fans.
The haunting performances by the principal cast and the impressive narration by Nitesh Tiwari played a significant part in making the film a huge blockbuster.
According to reports, the Sunday collection is the highest one-day collection for any movie. Sultan’s lifetime earnings are nearly double of Dangal now with Rs 300.45 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama. And is now eyeing its mark in Rs 300 Club!
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s latest film Dangal is on its way to breaking records after making a smashing entry on the worldwide box office. The film had made Rs 29.78 crore on Friday, the day it released. The film has already been declared a success and is everyday setting new records at the box office and has so far collected above Rs 150 Crore.
“Just saw Dangal and zapped with Aamirs belief in Indian audiences intelligence that they can make such a niche idea into such a massive film”.
Dangal hasn’t altered the all-time record for the highest opening weekend box-office collection much.
The film’s pan-India appeal can be gauged by the fact that it has made Rs 2.5 crore from the Tamil and Telugu dubs, a rare feat for a Bollywood film in its first weekend. I am sure that this flick is going to collect more than 30.20 Crore from the fourth day of release. Dangal, which was supposed to be the biggest release of the year after Salman Khan’s Sultan is braving such horrendous criminal activities.
