Dangal: Now, Kailash Vijayvargiya attacks Aamir Khan for his intolerance remark
BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy is back in action, with his new target, Aamir Khan, possibly after the whole “Intolerant India” fiasco.
BJP leader Subramian Swamy today alleged that actor Aamir Khan had collaborated with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI to promote his film PK in 2014.
“It will not work that you preach to an auto wallah how the country’s prestige has to be saved but not tell the same to your own wife”, Mr Madhav said, while addressing students at Delhi University’s SGBT Khalsa College.
The Bollywood superstar was the ambassador for the government’s “Incredible India” tourism campaign during the UPA regime.
In November previous year, the Bollywood super star had expressed his concerns over the rising intolerance in India and said his wife felt insecure in the country.
“No one needs to return the awards, everyone will be taken care of but the country should be respected”. Without naming the actor, he said: “On the one hand you teach auto drivers that they should safeguard the country’s honour, but on the other you aren’t teaching your wife to respect one’s nation”. “When I go home and talk to Kiran (Aamir’s wife), for the first time she says, ‘Should we move out of India?'” Khan said.
“We are dedicated to the security of the country”.
In a recent interview, Khan had said a sense of “insecurity” and “fear” had seeped deep within society, even in his family. We want good relations with our neighbours.
Highlighting the policies of the central government, he said, “The present Narendra Modi government is trying to provide security to the nation, to eradicate poverty and economically strengthen the nation”.
