Daniel Craig Would Rather Kill Himself Than Do Another Bond Movie
For those unfamiliar with the plot of Spectre, the latest 007 film sees a cryptic message from Bond’s past send him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization.
“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists”, he told the magazine about the speculation about the next Bond film. “I’m over it at the moment”, he says. I guess you could because all the movies come from the books in which there are so many characters and stories and different angles to explore.
As for potential his successor, Craig said his advice would be that they “embrace it”. “I think I would enjoy the experience”. He shares, “When I first started these movies I didn’t know any better – I was naive and didn’t worry about a great deal, I just got on with it”. “Can we move on, do you have anything else to ask?”
The actor, who stars in upcoming Bond movie Spectre, was rumoured to be starring in another two movies.
Speaking with the Sun, he said, “The person should do the job and I don’t give a f*** what colour their skin is”.
He said: “Well, I did hear recently that he is making another one“.
Daniel Craig is so over this whole being James Bond thing. Good luck to them!
The full TimeOut interview features a lot of interesting insight into Spectre, the filming process, why he thinks the Internet is evil for famous people, and a lot more. Make it better, that’s all’.
Idris Elba, Damian Lewis, Henry Cavill and Tom Hiddleston are just a few of the big names being bandied around. “Don’t be s-t. You’ve got to step up”. This is really rare now…You’ve got to push yourself as far as you can.
He added: “That’s important to see, that there are only specifics there-no generalities-on top of the world that we accept as the “Bond” world”. As was rumoured a few time ago, there was indeed a plan to do two James Bond films back to back, with one leading into the other.
