Daniel Radcliffe Goes Undercover in ‘Imperium’ Trailer
Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way since starring in the “Harry Potter” films. He’s gone nude, he’s done sex scenes and played a devil and he’s been attracted to indie fare and oddities like Swiss Army Man over the past few years. It looks more than the usual undercover agent film.
Daniel Radcliffe has taken on the role of a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent who attempts to infiltrate a group of neo-Nazis in the new film Imperium.
In “Imperium” Radcliffe is taking a much different role. Imperium is based partly on the true accounts of former undercover operative Michael German. Daniel Radcliffe leads the cast, and is joined by Toni Collette, Tracy Letts, Nestor Campbell, Burn Gorman, and Sam Trammell.
The film is out in August in the USA, and is the feature debut of writer/director Daniel Ragussis.
“An FBI agent goes under cover to disrupt a local terrorist group’s effort to make a dirty bomb”. He looks ideal for the part with his head shaved and his demeanor suggestive of a new undercover agent’s nervousness.
Imperium is the feature directing debut of Daniel Ragussis from his own screenplay and hits cinemas in September, 2016.
