Daniel Radcliffe Honored With Star On Hollywood’s Walk of Fame
Actor Daniel Radcliffe is awestruck after joining the ranks of cinema legends by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Comedian Chris Hardwick and Potter director Chris Columbus joined the festivities, where Radcliffe was honoured with the 2,565th star.
And Daniel Radcliffe looked like a young child being taken for a walk as he was ushered through an airport after jetting into Mexico on Friday.
Daniel added, “It’s kind of incredible”.
Before Daniel delivered his acceptance speech, President and CEO at Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Leron Gubler announced, “We hereby declare this Daniel Radcliffe Day in Hollywood”.
Speaking to Variety at the ceremony, Daniel said he was shocked but thrilled to have been given the honour. “In that moment, the finale of the film is set up, you need to establish that loyalty, because he treats me so badly throughout the film”, he told Screen Rant.
With fans gathered – many holding Harry Potter memorabilia – Daniel was happy to pose for photographs and sign autographs. That being said… in honor of the upcoming Victor Frankenstein, meet a new way to stitch together your friends with “Franken-Friend”!
The actor, who made his legit debut in “Equus” in London’s West End and was seen on Broadway previous year in “The Cripple of Inishmaan”, says he would love to return to the stage if he can get a good script. “I would like to direct at a few time”, he admitted.
He is also known for his philanthropic work for The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBT youth.
“I talk about luck a lot”.
