Dark Souls 3 Gets a Bone Chilling Trailer At Gamescom
Aside from today’s trailer reveal, it’s understood that From Software will be bringing a playable of Dark Souls III when Gamescom kicks off for the public on Thursday, August 6. Ashen wastelands cover much of the land, the Dark and the dragons of old are returning, and the Lords of Cinder from previous cycles are coming back as well.
The overall world of Dark Souls 3 looks as terrifying as usual.
Atmospheric visuals: Dynamic lighting and particle effects immerse you into a dark fantasy world of ruin. It makes me wonder if this will round out a Dark Souls trilogy. New to the series are the Battle Arts attacks as each weapon will be equipped with its own unique Battle Art to deliver powerful attacks that will break through enemy defenses. But in all honesty, after all this monster hunting, I remain hopeful that one day From Software will release some competent, modern games for the Tenchu and Armored Core series.
