Dark Souls 3 Looks Familiar In A Good Way
From Software learned a lot from Bloodborne going into Dark Souls 3, as the monsters here have taken a darker turn, so expect stronger and faster foes. Ashen wastelands cover much of the land, the Dark and the dragons of old are returning, and the Lords of Cinder from previous cycles are coming back as well.
Developed by acclaimed Japanese developer FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, DARK SOULS III is the latest chapter in the critically acclaimed DARK SOULS series with its trademark sword and sorcery combat and rewarding action RPG gameplay.
New to the series are the Battle Arts attacks. The two trailers combined only constitute about five minutes of footage, but they’ve gone a long way, flooring diehard fans the world over.
This is the day to get all your big announcements and trailers out of the way.
I’ll need to spend some time picking apart everything that’s in here, but am I the only one who thinks Dark Souls 3 already looks more unique and interesting than everything in Dark Souls 2?
The game is set to release “early 2016”, but doesn’t have an actual date just yet.
