‘Dark Souls 3’ Release Date Confirmed, New Title Available in Americas April

In July at E3, Tech Times got a closer look at what Dark Souls 3 has to offer to its fans. Anyone who has been reading reports about the anticipated game knows that it will be available next year. So far the stress test has only been announced for the PlayStation 4 version of the game, but we expect Bandai Namco to host similar tests for the Xbox One and PC versions at a later date to be determined.

Meanwhile, stress test is set next month, according to GamesRadar. Applications will only be accepted from September 18 at 8:oo am PDT to October 4 at 8:00 am PDT.

Namco will select participants randomly and slots are limited. The game is set to release in Japan on March 24, 2016.

Among the additions in the gameplay’s combat mechanics is skills which add attack modifiers to each weapon type, allowing players with an increased tactical advantage during the combat. Increase an axe’s attack power with War Cry or break an enemy’s guard with a quick upward swing from Ready Stance. The first game in the franchise was pretty iconic in the industry as a whole – it became a synonym for extreme difficulty in some circles, and players still remember how it made them feel to this day.

The publisher has also revealed that Dark Souls III’s beta client download will be approximately 3GB in size. This wider array of weapons encourages gamers to develop their own unique way of playing the game.
