Melee’s easy availability via Switch Virtual Console will help matters, rather than relying on aging hardware or third-party emulation.

As for other games Nintendo could offer via Virtual Console on Switch? According to the reports, the Nintendo Switch is going to come out with a USB-C port which will definitely enhance the charging process of the gaming console. And while the Nintendo Switch isn’t the type of name that produces juvenile sniggering, it still sounds a little odd rolling off the tongue. According to Eurogamer’s Tom Phillips, he has “at least” three sources that start that the GameCube Virtual Console for Switch “is indeed a thing”.
Gamestop has announced the Nintendo Switch price by offering a pre-order for £399 or €499. Melee and Super Mario Sunshine will be playable and downloadable on the Nintendo Switch when it arrives in March. The Nintendo Switch will also assist multiplayer via multiple consoles: for example, allowing six players to play using three Switch consoles. The Big N has always done their best to make sure the older games are still readily available to every who has purchased their recent consoles.
Nintendo has opted for an Nvidia Tegra processor in the Switch, but it’s unclear whether we’re looking at the bog-standard X1 chip or a new X2 processor.
As usual, we invite you to take this news as a rumor.
