Darren Criss in Talks for Halloween Episode of American Horror Story: Hotel
Entertainment Weekly reports that Darren Criss is allegedly slated to play a character named Justin, who will be a guest at the hotel who, along with his girlfriend, will get on Kathy Bates’ character’s bad side.
Darren Criss is checking into Season Five of FX’s hit series American Horror Story: Hotel, but the biggest question on fans mind is whether or not he’ll actually be checking out! But it looks like the Broadway hunk, who recently finished his stint starring in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch“, will receive more tricks than treats in the unnerving installment. This will be the fifth time that Peters will star in Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology and his role is speculated to be darker than the previous ones. But he’ll prove to be a less-than-desirable guest, and when his room service demands become too much to bear, Kathy Bates’ hotel boss character is going to make him wish he’d considered a bed and breakfast instead.
Are YOU excited to see Criss to check in to the Hotel? Additionally, Darren has reportedly been cast to star in Smitten, a comedy to be directed by Barry Morrow. The word is that Evan’s new American Horror Story character is described as a “Howard Hughes-type eccentric”, which creates a whole new opportunity for Peters to explore his acting chops.
The cast of American Horror Story: Hotel continues to grow larger as filming begins.
If the rumors are correct, then Criss’s Justin will be the first “normal” character that seems to be not evil at all, when compared to Paulson’s Hypodermic Sally, Peter Evans’s Mr. March, and Bomer’s Donovan. Sounds very menacing indeed. I’m excited to work with all those guys.
