Datsun launches redi-go today
The Nissan Datsun redi-GO is 3,429mm long, 1,560mm wide, 1,541mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,348mm.

Both the partners have produced their respective entry level models using CMF-A platform. redi-Go is priced in the range between R2,38,862 and R3,34,229 and comes with 5 colors, 5 variants with 5 different customisation packages. While the cabin’s style might have taken a back seat, Datsun obviously went with a more conventional approach.
“Datsun is on a real backfoot in India”, said Mr Gupta, who feels Nissan would have had more success launching Redi-Go under its own brand, which is comparatively stronger.
Datsun offers a warranty of 2 years / unlimited kilometres with free road -side assistance, and apart from that, the company is offering an optional three years additional warranty. The all-new 0.8L three-cylinder i-SAT engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission helps it accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 15.9 seconds.
The segment has been ruled by Maruti with the Alto for years now, and only recently, was challenged by Renault’s Kwid.
Datsun redi-GO will be supported by 274 Nissan and Datsun sales & service touchpoints in India starting today. With the projected 300 dealerships, Datsun will be able cover up to 90 per cent of current and prospective customers in the country and provide them with easy and immediate access to sales and after-sales services.
Datsun redi-GO has already created huge interest among the young and aspirational generation of India.
Saigot said that in the last financial year, Datsun sold 20,000 cars.
Though one can reach the Datsun stores to book the vehicle, the company has tied up with Snapdeal, where the user can pay an amount of Rs. 5000 (non-refundable) and book the auto, and this amount will be later deducted from the final amount.
