Dave Grohl claims Foo Fighters performance was ‘kicked off’ star-studded Emmy
Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters perform at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
Dave Grohl has accused the Emmy organisers of booking Foo Fighters to play the award ceremony, and then cancelling last minute. “We were supposed to play on the Emmys and we were gonna play on the Emmys and then they kicked us off”, Grohl claimed to TMZ. When asked the reason for the cancellation, the singer said, “I can’t tell you”. Dave Grohl and company have won two Emmy Awards for their HBO series Sonic Highways.
