David Beckham to become a future James Bond?
He did “98 per cent” of his own stunts in the film.
Taking inspiration from Sergio Leone’s Dollars trilogy, which features a conversation-light, squint-heavy Clint Eastwood, Beckham plays a daredevil motorbiker – or “a man whose anonymity and bravery can upset the status quo, shift power and help inspire lost souls”, as Belstaff puts it.
Outlaws was filmed on location in the dusty plains of Mexico and also stars Hollywood heavyweights Harvey Keitel, Cathy Moriarty and rising star Katherine Waterston.

That all changed when Beckham arrived on set in the Mexican desert.
“I was waiting in the trailer to do the first scene and a bunch of lilies arrived for me”.
“Guy Ritchie has asked me to be in a couple of things – which I do as fun because I know he’s not going to make me look silly”, he said. I’m not going to launch a new career being an actor.
