David Bowie’s last follow on Twitter says it all

Many have expressed dismay at the suddenness of David Bowie’s passing, and it appears to have taken him by surprise, as well.
Harper’s Bazaar editor in chief, Justine Picadie said Bowie was a trend setter.
Ten of Bowie’s songs cracked Spotify’s “Global Top 50” on Monday, the streaming service’s daily ranking of the most played tracks.
In an interview with a Dutch radio station, Hove said 69-year-old Bowie continued working, releasing his final album Blackstar just two days before he passed away in NY on Sunday, surrounded by his family.
“He told me more than one year and three months ago that he had liver cancer, just after he had been told this himself”, Van Hove told nos.nl.
“In my mind those moon landings and Space Oddity at the same time sort of transformed the way I thought about out of space, as well as a man that lived so extraordinary”. “I’ve got scars that can’t be seen”.
Producer Tony Visconti, who worked with Bowie on Blackstar, said the final album was “his parting gift”.
“And because nobody else was ever doing my songs, I felt, you know, I had to go out and do them”.
