David de Gea is ‘fully committed’ to Manchester United, says Morgan Schneiderlin
David de Gea, who has recently been linked to Real Madrid, recently spoke about how much he appreciated Manchester United fans and how he hopes to one day do great things for the club.
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has dismissed speculation surrounding a move to Real Madrid in the January transfer window and claims he is happy with life at Old Trafford.
De Gea has been United’s Player of the Year for the last two seasons, but he has not always enjoyed his time in England.
“When you have a player like this in goal, it’s good for us because we know we are not going to concede many goals and he is going to make some saves”.
The Foxes are level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table, and have a slight chance at winning the Premier League title after just being promoted last term. Please note that comments are automatically checked for inappropriate language and will be removed accordingly.
Smalling paid tribute to De Gea following his impressive performance against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and is thankful the Spaniard signed a long-term contract at United in the summer.
“They were the greatest goalkeepers in the Premier League, they are legends for this club and that is what I want”.
He was also asked who the best goalkeeper currently was and he humbly replied, “I’m not sure who the best is now, but it’s what I want”.
Manchester United players were involved in a shouting match at half-time of Sunday’s win over Liverpool, midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has said.
It is easy to see why Madrid would be tempted to launch another bid for De Gea.
