David: Showers Thursday night, mild on Friday
Rain building in… We are tracking an area of low pressure over Florida that will slide up the East Coast today.
We’ll start with sunshine, but add clouds throughout the afternoon and evening. Most of the rain will be tonight. Highs will not be as warm as tonight, but still above normal into the lower 50s.
On Friday look for a mix of sun and clouds with highs near 70 degrees.
Fog is likely to develop overnight along and south of I-10 where there is abundant moisture thanks to the rain earlier.
A cold front will slowly move into our area late Friday into Saturday, but will not push through until late Saturday.
Saturday, mostly sunny and mild. Highs on Monday will only be in the 30s with morning lows around 20. We will reach our high for the day early, with crashing temperatures as the front passes through. A limited amount of moisture is going to keep the rainfall at bay; just expect a few showers around especially during the afternoon.
Friday: Occasional rain showers. With this reinforcing shot comes a slight chance for light snow showers or flurries (no significant snow is expected). Dry weather is expected with a warming trend later in the week.
