Dawie Roodt recovering after being stabbed

Roodt has already undergone surgery to his left arm, and needs another operation after a knifeman cut through his bicep and triceps muscles. “They used ropes to tie the hands and feet of family members during the armed robbery”.

“His wife and children are unscathed, but terribly traumatised”, Ian Cameron, Head of Community Safety at AfriForum said. He will have further surgery to fix damage done to his arm.

“It is alleged that Mr Roodt’s daughter was visiting (on Thursday evening) and as she came to the gate, she was confronted by four suspects. Mr Roodt indicated that there was money in the auto outside”, Mogale said.

The four suspects fled the scene and Roodt was taken to hospital.
