Dawn Of Justice runtime is not short
The latest details for “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will feature the film’s official run time, a new character origin for Alfred Pennyworth and Jena Malone’s secret role revealed”.
There is precedent for this unusual take on the character; In the Earth One comics Alfred was a member of the Royal Marines, and that’s also the backstory which is now being used in Gotham. It’s happening, and Snyder is now in the United Kingdom prepping for the start. There is a lot of world building that needs to be done in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
As pointed out in a report from Cinema Blend, this Alfred is also more hands-on with Batman’s missions as he not only works as a mechanic on the Batmobile and other vehicles but also provides intel, as seen in the final trailer. Finally, Diana Prince’s Amazonian alter-ego will get a stand-alone in between Batman v. Superman and Justice League.
The idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing.
Justice League will shoot at the Warner Bros. Leavesden studios in England, with various locations around London and Iceland.
“The Justice League Part One” is set to hit theaters on November 17, 2017, with the second installment scheduled for June 14, 2019.
According to Entertainment Weekly, which got the exclusive scoop earlier today, Justice League will begin filming on April 11. Ben Affleck’s Batman will be walking onto the scene a seasoned vigilante.
It was originally teased back in December by German sources that Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice would clock in at around this time.
Nothing against the Renegade, but we suspect Bruce Wayne choice of ride was influenced by FCA’s “one-of-a-kind branded partnership” with the film’s production company, Warner Brothers. All we can say is it’s fast and it’s exciting.
