DEADPOOL 2 Soundtrack to Feature an Original Song by Celine Dion
Over the years, some unbelievable musicians have contributed songs to various Marvel soundtracks, but the most surprising – and recent – addition to that lineup is, without a doubt, Celine Dion. He assured that the character of Deadpool isn’t going anywhere any time soon, but he was much less certain when talking about another solo outing.
The singer previously teased that we would be hearing new music from her soon, but none of us expected this. Ryan Reynolds seems to think that’s rather impossible to do.
Reynolds is no stranger to box office records after Deadpool became the highest grossing R-rated film when it took $783m in 2016. Twirling and stretching with attractive grace, the antihero dances around Dion. The animated series was planned to be in its own continuity apart from the films, suggesting that the series might have stayed closer to the classic comics stylistically, and maybe even adapted some of the better Deadpool comic book storylines.
The video ends with a rather humorous altercation between the two.
At the conclusion of her lung-busting revival anthem, Deadpool himself offers feedback: “That was the most attractive performance I’ve ever seen in my life”. That’s right: everyone’s favorite Canadians – Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth and the iconic diva Dion – have officially collaborated.
“Over the years I’ve received some incredible songs and I’ve been involved in some awesome projects”, Celine said on Instagram as she shared the video.

“That was the most attractive performance I’ve ever seen in my life”, he declares. I suppose we’ll never know what was cut.
Deadpool 2 hits theaters May 18. You think your crack about The Lizzie McGuire Movie on Twitter went unnoticed? Did you enjoy the music video for “Ashes”?
