Deadpool 2 Teaser Trailer Released
Deadpool decides to intervene and help the man in trouble, racing for a phone booth with John Williams’ iconic Superman theme from Richard Donner’s classic film playing in the background. “Probably should have called 911 from the phone booth”, muses Deadpool, “Probably should have used my cell phone”.
Have we seen a Deadpool 2 trailer?
With nearly 13 million views in less than 24 hours, the new Deadpool 2 teaser is more short film than a view at what’s to come.
By the end of the video, the release date of “Deadpool 2” is not specified, but is only said to be “Coming”, but “not soon enough”.
The “Deadpool 2” teaser is nearly 4 minutes long and it shows Ryan Reynold’s character Wade Wilson changing into his Deadpool costume.
Ryan Reynolds and Fox look to be committed to the same style of humor that made the original Deadpool film a success.
Hollywood sensation Ryan Reynolds never fails to surprise us.
“I spent way too long in the phone booth”, Deadpool quips to the dead body of the man he meant to save.
Former Marvel president Stan Lee also makes an appearance. As an extra scene for the movie, it fits perfectly with Logan and yet it also acts as a great way to tease the future of Deadpool. He mocks his DC rival Superman and doesn’t even spare Logan.
Still, Deadpool plays off the incident with the same dark comedy that was present in the last flick. “I just want to say one thing to the geek audience out there, because it’s important to me what the geeks and nerds of the world think because they are my brothers and sisters”. Wade, of course, tells him, “Zip it, Stan Lee”.
So, he runs towards an empty phone booth to “squeeze his ass into red spandex” (get it?) while the mugger and victim continue to argue.
