Deadpool and Cable Will Lead the Upcoming ‘X-Force’ Movie
The plot for was the best one yet for a “Wolverine” movie. That’s the only way a catastrophic event like the Westchester Incident can be prevented – the day when Charles accidently killed seven X-Men, and possibly more mutant students at his school for the gifted in Westchester, New York. “Critics embraced the film, hailing it as a comic book movie with bite, with Variety’s Owen Gleiberman writing that “Logan” “.brings the saga to a satisfying finish”.
FOX Studios is already developing R-Rated versions of Deadpool 2 and Deadpool 3, and I would even bet that X-Force could be rated-R as well. On top of that, Professor X is so old, that he has seizures. Connecting all of these movies will happen when it organically makes sense. What’s even crazier is that it looks like the best was saved for last. With Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart out of the picture, the X-universe has to think about some new blood and some new ideas.
Logan fans who waited for an end-credits scene after the film were disappointed to discover there isn’t one at all.
“Logan” was 30th overall for biggest worldwide opening weekend of a movie, and biggest ever in overseas openings for an R-rated flick, The Hollywood Reporter said. Will Logan please drive her to a place in North Dakota called Eden, allegedly a refuge for young mutants (others also exist!)?
While working, Logan is approached by Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook), the cybernetically-enhanced chief of security for the Transigen research facility. For all the violence and visceral action in Logan, it’s incredibly emotional as a father-son story, and a son meeting his daughter. And they each have fond memories of those early days, from indulging in some on-set improvisation to zooming around the set in Professor X’s turbocharged wheelchair. “But it did earn a respectable $16.1 million from the faith-based crowd, despite being-to quote our own review-” one of those things that sounds bug-nuts but is really just a chore to sit through”.
Without any words, Keen embodies a striking resemblance to Jackman’s historic fierceness as Wolverine. But we go into making the best movie we can. Sometimes, it’s good to leave people wanting more with a teaser of what’s to come, like the Thor hammer reveal at the end of Iron Man 2.
The Australian actor might be done with Wolverine, but considering how well their fake Logan works, it might not be a long time before Fox considers dropping the character into other movies in completely digital cameos.
