‘Deadpool’ Red-Band Trailer Unleashes Holiday Badassery

Yes, after keeping fans on tenterhooks with the brilliant #12DaysOfDeadpool promotional campaign, ’tis the season to get excited about Tim Miller’s live-action rendition of Deadpool. On the claw, Deadpool can be seen leaning “seductively” with a Santa hat on (it looks like the picture used in the Holiday letter, only instead of being on the bearskin rug he is on a claw). Prepping for Christmas Day’s 2nd full Deadpool trailer release, 20th Century Fox gives us a fun little thirty seconds in today’s piece of Deadpool goodness.

Reynolds responded to the Tweet with his own message. Ryan responded, “Well, that’s just rude”. There’s also a Red Band trailer. He begins by crawling into the front seat of a taxi and explaining the reason for his tight red body-suit.

The clip keeps the Christmas theme of the recently released material going, featuring the overdubbed lines “It’s Christmas Day and I’m out for someone on my naughty list”. Most importantly, however, is that this trailer finally introduces the other main characters that will appear in the movie. In particular, this Twitter hijacking by Jackman’s Wolverine seemed unplanned (even if it probably was).
