DeAndre Jordan staying the Clippers

Jordan agreed to a four-year, million contract with the Mavericks after meeting with several teams, including the New York Knicks and Clippers. Jordan can opt out after three years. With Jordan’s sudden reversal, Dallas will likely scramble to find a replacement at center. Contract negotiations can begin on July 1. Cuban added the Mavericks’ other premiere free-agent signing, Wes Matthews, was still on board because he “is exactly the type of player we want in a Mavs uniform”.
