Debate highlights GOP’s 2 factions
The Republican presidential candidates are not letting up on CNBC. But the Republican presidential contenders seemed even angrier at the media Wednesday night.
There was a great deal of criticism for Harwood and his fellow moderators online, on Twitter, and in articles throughout the night, first for starting late, later for the kind of questions they were asking and failing to follow up with candidates who weren’t telling the truth.
While most on the stage took swipes at the media in general or CNBC’s questioners in particular, Sen.
Like baseball umpires, debate moderators are most noticed when something goes wrong, and Carl Quintanilla, Becky Quick and John Harwood were in the spotlight Thursday.
Mark J. Terrill/AP PhotoCNBC moderators are under fire by Republicans for their “insulting” questions. And if you look at he questions – Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain?
Yeah, but that – because the math is, if you – 5 percent of a million is a lot more than 5 percent of a thousand. “You people write this stuff. And as is Ted Cruz, and you know if we shift the leadership in the party to Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, and then Paul Ryan as speaker, and we get more conservatives in the Senate, that’s a huge gain for us”.

They offered claims that they could cure autism, cancer.
Carson took issue with, among other things, questions about his ties to the controversial nutritional supplement company Mannatech, where he gave paid speeches.
That’s when the crowd began to boo. You should be showing up to term.
Bush pointed out that Rubio was endorsed by the Sun Sentinel, and he scolded Rubio for his Senate absences – to which Rubio responded by saying Bush was complaining only because “someone has convinced you that attacking me is going to help you”. “You’ve got to pick someone who has experience”. “Jeb Bush: Why have your numbers fallen?'” Cruz said. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for missing votes when he ran in 2008 and now talks about McCain’s comeback bid as a model for Bush’s current effort. I don’t believe that the way I’m going to win is by going after him or anybody else. I will continue to have tremendous admiration and respect for Governor Bush.
“I’m running for president of the United States”.
Huckabee added, “Donald Trump would be a better president every day of the week – and twice on Sunday – than Hillary”. Marco Rubio, a USA senator from Florida, scored a negative 8.2 average, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was at a negative 7.5.
