Defender done deal, winger to join London rivals — Chelsea Transfer News
Chelsea winger Victor Moses is set to join West Ham on loan for the season, reports the Express.
Meanwhile, the Sun on Sunday say Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will snub a transfer to Chelsea this season and wait until next summer to move.
The Nigerian global is poised to join West Ham in what will be his third successive spell on loan, following time spent at Liverpool and last season, with Stoke City.
Despite Jose Mourinho’s side’s testing start to the season – which suffered another blow when Moses’ former team Crystal Palace left Stamford Bridge with all three points yesterday – the Nigeria global remains on the very periphery of the squad and has not been used since being brought on in the latter stages of the Community Shield defeat.
However, the Potters decided not to go ahead with a move for Moses, possibly because of his poor injury record having missed half the term.
According to Sky Sports, West Ham are on the verge of completing a loan deal for the Chelsea winger, and the deal is expected to be completed before Tuesday deadline.
Elsewhere, Hull City have confirmed that they have accepted a bid for Nikica Jelavic and that the player is in London undergoing a medical.
