Jaitley has denied any wrongdoings and the CBI also said that only files related to Kumar were searched in the raid, and its action was not linked to DDCA files.
Jaitley rubbished the allegations, saying he has had nothing to do with cricket for years. However, in their press note, CBI categorically denied “having seized any material during the searches which are not relevant to investigations”.
The CBI’s raid on the office of the Principal Secretary to the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal has prompted a political war – this time being fought on Twitter where Kejriwal’s 6.5 million followers and other supporters form an army of sorts.
Continuing its attack on Jaitley over alleged corruption when he headed Delhi’s cricket association, Kejriwal said Jaitley must resign or should be sacked.
Targeting the finance minister, AAP alleged that in 2006, Jaitley had declared assets of Rs 23.86 crore and in 2012 he declared Rs 120 crore.

Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta said that the internal lokpal holds a proper inquiry before a decision is taken to assign responsibilities in the party and the government.
“Then a cabinet minister makes a statement in parliament that it (raid) has nothing to do with the CM’s office and his tenure”.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader said the Delhi government and the AAP were not scared of any investigation.
He said such acts of the AAP chief has already exposed him before the public and people call him a “drama-master”, who wants to be in news by creating controversy. He was questioned in connection with corruption allegations made against him.
