Delroy Lindo Boards ‘Marvel’s Most Wanted’ As Dominic Fortune
Things are moving ahead with the initial show, as Delroy Lindo has been cast as comic book character Dominic Fortune.
Marvel’s Most Wanted, the next Agents of SHIELD spinoff, has a pilot order, and production should begin shortly. In the comics, the character is described as an “adventure-seeking rogue”, who “craved wealth and excitement with his globe-trotting odysseys”.
For all the success and critical acclaim Marvel has earned, there’s still one show under their banner that hasn’t quite received the same love: “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D”. Dominic Fortune, meanwhile, originally appeared in Marvel Preview #2, which first hit shelves in 1975. Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski of S.H.I.E.L.D. are executive producing the pilot, along with Jeph Loeb for Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
Agent Carter season 2 is on the air while Agents of SHIELD season 3 is on break.
Lindo’s credits include Malcolm X, Get Shorty, The Cider House Rules, Blood and Oil, Believe, The Chicago Code, and Kidnapped.
