Democrats will meet in a city of great economic inequality
The union said the workers hope to garner support from the Democratic National Convention, which is expected to confirm former secretary of state Hillary Clinton as its candidate for president in the November election.
As people from all over prepare to drop a ton of cash traveling to Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention, a group of almost 1,000 workers have announced a strike action that may put a wrinkle in their plans.
Hillary Clinton held meetings at her home on Friday about her running mate selection, according to a personal familiar with the meeting.
The website lets users see information about real-time traffic conditions on highways throughout the region during the DNC July 25th through the 28th. “What these workers are fighting for is what the DNC and the convention is supposed to be about”.

Tuesday will focus on the DNCC’s involvement with children and families, and President Bill Clinton will speak, along with the Mothers of the Movement group.
Events will start at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Democrats will announce more speakers in the coming days.
Thursday night will feature Clinton’s primetime address, where the then nominee “will speak about her vision for our country – her belief that we are stronger together and that America is at its best when we work together to solve our problems”.
