Des Moines guitarist involved in bus accident
The Ghost Inside band members, Andrew Tkaczykt, 28, Jonathan Vigil and Zach Johnson, 28, received serious injuries and were transported to University Medical Center via helicopter.
Stalwart USA outfit The Ghost Inside have survived a horrific two-vehicle accident in Texas that has reportedly claimed the lives of both drivers, with band drummer Andrew Tkaczyk now being cared for in an intensive-care unit after being airlifted to hospital from the scene.
The band were travelling from Texas to Phoenix when the bus collided with a lorry. Members of the band’s crew also sustained significant injuries.
According to local news station KVIA, one other person was killed in the crash, which has prompted the musicians to cancel the rest of their USA tour.
The band set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for expenses.
Earlier today, we reported that Hinder were involved in a bus crash in Tennessee and now comes word that the Ghost Inside were involved in a serious bus crash today in Texas. Please keep them in your thoughts as well as their bus driver and those in the other vehicle who did not make it.
Out of their five-member crew, Danny Lupio and Charles Billings are also in critical condition with the remaining three crew members, Nathan Wilden, Armando Corona and Timothy Davis, sustaining serious injuries.

The Facebook post said all of the Los Angeles-based heavy metal band’s US shows on its current tour have been canceled.
