Details Of Finding Dory Revealed
After voicing Dory in “Finding Nemo” over a decade ago, popular talk show host Ellen DeGeneres will once again lend her vocals to the forgetful fish in the 2003 film’s sequel “Finding Dory”.
Speaking before the audience in the D23 Expo, the annual Disney event, DeGeneres couldn’t contain her excitement over the latest news. I’m so excited for you to see this. The fellow fishes in the sanctuary must help Dory escape to help find her forgotten family.
Other actors cast in the film include Modern Family’s Ty Burrell and Ed O’Neill. It’s been announced that Kaitlin Olson, who’s best known for being a giant bird Sweet Dee on ‘It’s Always Sunny on Philadelphia’, will be taking on a voice role in the new film. “[Destiny] does not like to be thought of as shark, she just wants to a whale, sharks are scary, she doesn’t want to be scary”, the actress said in an interview with ScreenSlam.
Disney has detailed its upcoming slate of new animated features, including Finding Dory, Toy Story 4 and a new Jack and the Beanstalk movie.
The two, however, remembers Dory murmuring in her sleep about her mother being in Monterey, California.
Why Is There A Finding Nemo Sequel?
Director of the film, Andrew Stanton, says the sequel picks up 6 months after Finding Nemo ended. “So that’s when I knew I had another story”.
