Devi Sri Prasad to debut as Hero

Ever since then, he has been working on successful films as a composer. With the charm he carries and with his awesome and rocking performances in several award functions and concerts, he has always been in the limelight.

Devi is said to have a very good friendship with director Sukumar. DSP’s close friend and star director, Sukumar will be launching the musician as the Hero in his upcoming film. While the makers are tight-lipped about the project, we hear it will be a romantic musical. His debut project will have Sukumar as the director and Rathnavelu as Director of Photography. It was officially announced by producer Dil Raju at the success meet of Kumari 21F that was held at a theatre in Hyderabad. The film has been directed by Sukumar.Sukumar and Devi Sri first project was 100% love.

Devi Sri Prasad has done few cameos in films like Kamal Haasan’s Manmadhan Ambu, but has never played a lead role in a film so far. Devi Sri Prasad recently choreographed a song in “Kumari 21F”.
