Perth man Daniel Evans, 25, reportedly suffered fatal injuries when he fell through a glass door at Harris Resort in Kuta Beach while on holiday with his girlfriend and friends.
Daniel Evans died from blood loss after suffering severe cuts to his chest and arm in the accident about 7pm on Wednesday.
“He fell on it and was wounded by the broken glass”, Kuta police station chief Ida Bagus Dedy Januarta said on Thursday. “Just come back. I miss you, I want to hear you laugh one last time, ‘ wrote a friend, who is now still in Bali while arrangements are made to bring Mr Evans” body home.
Ms Branson shouted for help before hotel staff arrived to find Mr Evans bleeding heavily.
Perth man Daniel Evans was rushed to Sanglah hospital in Denpasar but was pronounced dead on arrival.
‘What’s obvious, he’s under the influence of alcohol, ‘ he said.
A friend travelling with Evans posted online “RIP Daniel Evans…” It is thought he died on the way to Sanglah Hospital.
An Australian has died in Bali, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Evans’ close friend Olivia Benson posted on Facebook that she accompanied Evan and his girlfriend Chelsea Graham to Kuta resort. “It’s not a problem if the family rejected the autopsy, especially when the investigation so far yielding that it’s purely accident and there’s no indication of crime at all”, Mr Slamet said.
