Diamanti set to become Watford’s 11th signing
Diamanti spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina in Serie A.
But when the Baggies visit Vicarage Road on Saturday for the first home game of Flores’ reign, Vydra looks certain to be left on the bench.
“It’s a step up but feel I can score goals there for Watford“.
The Czech worldwide was an unused substitute as Watford opened their Premier League campaign with a promising 2-2 draw at Everton, and Flores warned: “I would like 14 or 15 players in the side every week, but I can’t fit them all in”. The Yellow Army are encouraged by their return showing in the Premier League against a veteran top-tier squad like Everton and they will bring that momentum against an obviously struggling Albion eleven. We have to decide what their role is depending on their feelings and their performance during the week.
Now, Vydra wants to right the wrong after being handed another chance with new boys Watford. He’s performing well and at a good level and the teams are talking to arrange the last details and he has the possibility to be incorporated onto the list. “It’s always hard to choose you squad”.
He added: “It’s the best in league in the world and I saw the quality of players like David Silva and Eden Hazard first hand”.
Diamanti scored eight goals for West Ham in 2009-10 and is set to become Watford’s 11th signing of the summer.
