Diaz Brothers Involved In Pair Of Brawls At MMA Event

An ordinary fight night turned into bedlam in the minutes before Saturday’s WSOF 22 main event, as a brawl erupted cageside at The Axis in Planet Hollywood between UFC lightweights Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov and their respective entourages. The two sides have exchanged words over social media for quite some time, and that spilled over into some shenanigans in the crowd and in the hotel lobby after they got kicked out of the arena.

The eagle-eyed lads at MMAInterviews captured footage of the brawl which actually looks pretty intense. Things escalated from there, resulting in Diaz being escorted away while another unknown individual attempted to rush the Nurmagomedov camp but was quickly wrapped up by security.

The first incident appears to happen ringside after the show, with one of the Diaz brothers throwing a beer at Nurmagomedov before the fists start flying.

The would-be contender is now recovering from knee surgery and is not yet in fighting shape, be it in or out of the cage.
