Dick Advocaat can not hide his frustrations

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat is determined to bring in three players in the remaining week of the transfer window to avoid another relegation dogfight.

Advocaat is clearly demanding major signings and may be on the verge of quitting if sporting director Lee Congerton fails to land them.

Two games into the Premier League season and the Black Cats are in such crisis not even their sponsors are backing them to stay in the division.

“The difference with a team like Swansea is that at Swansea everyone knows if they have to go this way or that way”.

They now sit outside the play-off places on goal difference with two victories against Yeovil Town and Dagenham & Redbridge, a draw with York City and a defeat to Northampton Town.
