Nuance Cloud Based Dragon Anywhere App will let you save your transcriptions onto your selected cloud service so that you can access it later on your computer for further editing. The Dragon Anywhere mobile app for iOS and Android will be sold this fall through the App Store and Google Play as a subscription service at $15 per month or $150 a year.

With advanced capabilities for customizing words, automating repetitive tasks, and creating auto-texts to insert frequently-used text – all by voice – Dragon Professional Individual makes it easy to dictate, edit and format documents, spreadsheets, presentations or emails, fill out forms, or simply reduce the physical stress of typing.

Nuance unveiled Dragon Anywhere, a cloud-based mobile application that it says will deliver professional-grade voice dictation and document productivity capabilities to smartphones and tablets for the first time.

Dragon Anywhere can serve as a standalone product, but its output can also be integrated with the revamped desktop programs Nuance also announced today- Dragon Professional Individual, Dragon Professional Group, and version 5 of Dragon for Mac. No competitor offers a similar product, he maintains. Dragon Professional Group also supports Citrix virtualized environments for published applications.

Nuance did not say if current users of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13 will receive any discounts for upgrading to Dragon Professional.

The new Nuance User Management Center enables enterprises to track employee usage of Dragon Professional Group, redistribute licenses based on employee use, and manage or share customizations, including custom words, commands and auto-texts, across multiple Dragon users. Besides adding in the new cloud service, the updated Dragon for Mac includes a refreshed, smaller interface that can sit in the corner of your Mac or just in the Mac’s menu bar.

The Dragon Anywhere app for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Android devices will be available in the fall, while the new Mac app will become available in September. The usefulness of Dragon Anywhere may depend on the specific circumstances for each worker.
