Did Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth secretly Wednesday in Australia?
Life & Style magazine claims the two got secretly hitched on an Australian beach in a “secret sunset wedding ceremony over the winter holidays”. The couple reportedly tied-the-knot in a very “spur of the moment” ceremony but even though Liam’s family was all there, Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus and her siblings weren’t there. “Now they both refer to each other as ‘my wife” or ‘my husband’. Following the reports of engagement, Cyrus posted several pictures of herself on her Instagram page, wearing the ring she had received from Hemsworth when they were dating in 2012.
The wedding was suppoedly Liam’s idea, which Miley was 100% “all in” for, and was attended by Liam’s brothers Chris and Luke, with Chris’ wife Elsa Pataky the “unofficial matron of offer”. The publication’s source claims Cyrus, 23, and Hemsworth, 26, ‘have told close friends that they are married.
“Miley’s family and management team is not going to let her marry Liam without an ironclad prenup in place”, said the source.
Afterwards they exchanged “wedding bands that had been fashioned from palm fronds”.
While the ceremony isn’t legally binding, L&S say they’re keen to make it official in March. They confirmed their split in September 2013.
Another source previously told People that Hemsworth’s family (which includes big brother Chris) were hesitant about the relationship in the past but got to know Cyrus better when she spent time in Australia earlier in January.
Liam has never shied away from the fact that Miley has a hold over him. And whether a cent of this story is true or it’s all a load of crap, the details of the wedding are so brilliant we really WANT them to be real.
