Dilwale Movie 1st Day / First Day Box Office Collections (Estimated)

When the news spread that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were reuniting on screen, there was a lot of hype surrounding “Dilwale”.

Dilwale has finally hit the screens which have King Khan, and Kajol in the lead role which is directed by Rohit Shetty. Initially Dilwale was expected to break the record of Salman Khan’s & ofcourse year’s biggest blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

According to Indian media reports, “Dilwale” essentially is a love story that spans two generations. He appeared as Raj and he played this character with an ease and he performed exceptionally well in action scenes. It should be noted that Varun is the younger brother of SRK. Bajirao Mastani is the love story of a warrior. Veer and Ishita try to find out what made the two bitter enemies, but Raj and Meera hide their past from their brother and sister respectively.

Both Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol sizzled at their best in these scenes, and it was a sheer treat to watch them on screen. When Veer expresses his love for Ishita to Raj, Raj discovers a shocking truth. SRK’s union with Kajol and Rohit Shetty have always fetched magic, and audiences expected the same from this flick as well. Consequently, the joyful beams on the faces of Kajol, SRK, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

Sadly the storyline of this film is where it all comes undone. Boman Irani, Sanjay Mishra and Johnny Lever carried out the comedy portions with perfection. The pair will be seen romancing Varun in the Dilwale movie. Shetty does create some fantastic backdrops for the film with stunning imagery from Bulgaria and Iceland and wonderful songs. We are friends. If I have any issue, I can pick up the phone at 3am and call Ajay and tell him “Listen, I need Kajol to come and do this for me” and he will drive her. We are such kind of friends.

Now only time will reveal if Kajol’s tripping luck works for “Dilwale” at the box office. Manma Emotion Jaage is the young preppy track, which shows off Dhawan’s dancing talents and is well suited to his pairing with Sanon.

Kajol may be returning to the Silver screen after many years but her performance still gives you goosebumps. What happened to their love story?
