Dilwale vs Bajirao Mastani: Even Super-Films Get the Monday Blues

Dilwale movie is clashing with another big movie Bajirao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra. The first day business of the film was Rs 21 crore, on Saturday the collection went down slightly, but the collection went up on Sunday once again. The movie is doing fabulous business at the box office, Not only in Domestic areas but also in overseas. The movie performed exceptionally well in West Bengal, Chennai, East Punjab and Delhi.

Bollywood’s superstar Shahrukh Khan & Kajol starrer this Friday released action comedy Dilwale is storming at box office.

There would be no competition for “Dilwale” and “Bajirao Mastani” on Christmas and January 1, so they will have sufficient time to prove their mettle. However, this Monday, “Bajirao” left “Dilwale” behind in terms of collection!

According to Mid day, SRK-Kajol starrer “Dilwale” has remained ahead of “Bajirao Mastani” and crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark worldwide in its opening weekend while the historical flick, featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, earned Rs. 46.77 crore in India. Varun and Kriti also done a superb job in the movie. In two days it collected fantastic 80 crores at worldwide box office. With good numbers coming on each of the three days, the film has now brought in 65.09 crore over the weekend, which is a healthy enough start. During the weekend, the collection of both the film increased with “Dilwale’s earning being Rs 24 cr and ‘BM” earning Rs 18.45 cr.
