DiRT Rally Confirmed For Consoles
After a successful Early Access campaign, DiRT Rally from Codemasters has finally reached version 1.0.
DiRT Rally has completed its early access program on Steam and is now available for full purchase beginning today. This update also adds the Hyundai Rally and Volkswagen Polo Rally, and the Winter Wonderland rally. This has resulted in a 92% positive user score, said Codemasters CEO Frank Sagnier. The game is on the cusp of being released in a full version on Windows today and Amazon says there is going to be an actual physical copy of the computer game in January.
The game was initially released in early access format on Steam, and players have clocked up some 60 million miles of racing during that time. These snow-filled stages are known for their snow banks and Codemasters has pioneered new soft edge tech that simulates the density of snow.
“Winter Wonderland” update also available on PC.
Adrenaline junky console gamers who can’t afford the exorbitant fuel prices for rally driving have some good new coming their way.
DiRT Rally also includes officially licensed World Rallycross content, allowing you to experience the breathless, high-speed thrills of some of the world’s fastest off-road cars as you trade paint with other drivers at some of the series best-loved circuits, in both singleplayer and high-intensity multiplayer races.
