Dishonored Definitive Edition 50% Off Loyalty Discount on Xbox Live and PSN
In one of those moves more publishers should really be considering, according to a now-deleted early listing on the PSN, Bethesda will apparently be offering the “Dishonored: Definitive Edition” for $20 as a digital upgrade for owners of the original game. The standard price is $40/£30, but if you have a digital licence for the Xbox 360 version you’ll get the new edition for half that when it releases on August 28th. That’s pretty good, innit?
Dishonored: Definitive Edition was announced at E3 last month and is a current gen update of the original game, with all the existing DLC included.
Digital edition owners qualify for savings on the upgrade.
I think my Dishonored is a physical PS3 copy, so not sure if that’d count. Dishonored was made available for free to members of the program back in April, and anyone who took advantage of that opportunity will also be eligible to grab the new release at the discounted price.
Since Dishonored: Definitive Edition isn’t on the Xbox marketplace yet we can’t confirm that this offer extends to Microsoft platforms, but it seems very likely that it will. We’ve asked Bethesda for confirmation on that. Now word yet on whether this promotion applies to Europe, but we’ll keep you posted as the re-release gears up for its launch across the pond on August 28.
