Dishonored Definitive Edition hits current-gen today
Dishonoured Definitive Edition was announced back in Bethesda‘s E3 briefing during June, and is out today for $40 in North America, and £23 for the UK on Friday.
“Void Walker’s Arsenal” offers unique character bonuses, additional bone charm slots, and more that will aid you in pursuit of revenge.
The beauty of Dishonored lies in how much freedom you’re given to approach your objectives. “Players can choose either Emily or Corvo in the sequel, as they travel through the coastal city of Karnaca”, Forbes contributor Erik Kain wrote.
One of the best games of 2012, Dishonored was the ideal blend of open-ended stealth, interesting world-building and pure gameplay bliss. Three years in the rear-view, Dishonored holds up quite well.
That’s a pretty important differentiator in all the games we’ve been seeing re-released for new consoles.
While Bethesda and Arkane have mentioned the various improvements made to the game’s original version in order to take advantage of the PS4 or Xbox One, a fan-made graphics comparison between the PS4 version and the old Xbox 360 edition shows rather modest actual enhancements. With Dishonored’s flexible combat system, creatively eliminate your targets as you combine the supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal.
The game’s outcome is reportedly always based on the choices that the players make.
