Disney removes Bill Cosby statue at Hollywood Studios
Cosby has never been charged with a crime in connection to the accusations of drugging and sexual assault, and his lawyers have dismissed the allegations.
The news follows court documents from 2005 which revealed the comedian had admitted to intending to drug women he wanted to have sex with.

Cosby, 77, has been accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct dating back more than four decades.
“The women have been saying they’ve been drugged and abused, and these documents appear to support the allegations”, said Joe Cammarata, who represents Therese Serignese.
Whoopi Goldberg and ex- on-screen wife Phylicia Rashad appear to remain in Cosby’s corner despite the latest revelations. “I say this because this is my opinion, and in America still, I know it’s a shock, but you actually were innocent until proven guilty”.
“This admission is one that Mr. Cosby has attempted to hide from the public for many years, and we are very gratified that it is now being made public”. He has not been proven a rapist.’.
Singer Jill Scott had defended Cosby but says she’s now “completely disgusted”. She said during the first visit, she brought her daughter along.
Goldberg was not alone among entertainers who continue to deflect criticism from Cosby.
Instead, Love wrote, people should be concerned about violence and racism against black people. Knight’s attorney Thomas Mesereau said the judge should reject Sloan’s testimony because his changing story showed he isn’t credible.
“We’re talking about a legacy that introduced and portrayed American culture in its diversity”, Rashad said at the time. “I’ve seen the pain in their eyes”, she says.
Her lawyer argues that Cosby’s camp has commented over the years and again this week on the case while Constand has been forced to remain silent. Both sides agreed to keep the terms confidential and not comment on what did or didn’t happen between them.
The new disclosures came from deposition excerpts in a now-settled civil suit against the sitcom star by ex- Temple University employee Andrea Constand that were unsealed by a judge Monday.
She noted one statement from Cosby’s camp in November referring to “discredited” accusations, and another where Cosby himself referred to the allegations by numerous women against him as “innuendos”.
